Scope of Works
- Earthworks: Completed bulk cut-to-fill operations to establish civil and structural design levels, including preparation of subgrade for subsequent construction activities.
- Pavement Construction: Constructed temporary and permanent access roads, including demolition and reinstatement of existing concrete and asphalt pavements to meet final design requirements.
- Underground Services: Fabricated and installed underground carbon steel cooling-water pipework, installed underground HDPE fire-water piping, and commissioned a new earthing grid system to achieve electrical grounding compliance.
- Concrete Foundations: Constructed new reinforced concrete equipment foundations and delivered a raft-slab foundation for the reverse osmosis system.
- Structural Works: Installed a new structural steel frame to support the cooling-tower infrastructure.
Project Features
- Earthworks Efficiency: Achieved a cut-to-fill balance using on-site materials, removing the requirement for imported fill and optimising site resources.
- Value Engineering Initiative: Implemented recycled materials for the sub-base layer, reducing environmental impact while delivering measurable cost savings for the client.
