Scope of Works
- Obtain all necessary work permits from PAPL and BP, including airside access approvals and completion of safety inductions.
- Mobilise and establish the site, including installation of fencing, water-filled barriers, and site offices.
- Ensure site setup complies with all airside operational restrictions and avoids aircraft jet blast zones.
- Excavate along the pipeline route (chainage 3500 to 4160) to expose the existing pipeline.
- Excavate and lower the live fuel pipeline by up to 1.8 metres to accommodate new pavement construction.
- Construct two in-situ culverts (totaling 235m) at Link 8 and Link 9 taxiways.
- Ensure zero damage to existing pipelines, no safety or environmental incidents, and maintain uninterrupted supply of Jet A-1 fuel throughout the works.
Project Features
- Facilitate recoating and wrapping of the exposed pipeline
- Lower the pipeline in a controlled sequence to ensure adequate clearance beneath new RCP drainage structures at locations P1, P2, P3, and P4.
- Backfill over the pipeline in compacted layers to meet the specified Proctor density requirements.
- Lower existing live telecommunications cable to enable the pipeline lowering works.
